Introducing Landler Pathfinder: a first map of your organization’s relationship with nature. Free to use.

Landler Pathfinder is now in beta. It maps how your organization relates to nature, from the regulations and frameworks that guide your reporting, to the subsidies and nature markets that offer new sources of revenue.

Knowing where to start with nature isn’t easy

Every organization depends on nature in one way or another. Farms depend on soil and water. Manufacturers depend on raw materials grown or mined somewhere. Governments manage land, budgets and commitments that all lean on healthy ecosystems. Lenders and buyers are starting to ask questions about its relevance to portfolio risk and returns.

But the question "how does nature matter to us, specifically?" is harder to answer.

The challenge is that nature bears on an organisation in three distinct ways. Physically, through the ecosystems your sites and supply chains depend on, and how fragile they are. Through accountability: the regulations, disclosure frameworks and standards that apply to you, each with its own scope and thresholds. And through opportunity: the public and private incentive programmes, grants and nature markets that reward land managed well. Each has its own experts, its own vocabulary and its own knowledge sources, spread across agencies and countries.

As a result, most organisations act on nature only when something external forces them to. A disclosure requirement comes into scope. A drought or supply disruption exposes a site. A lender or major customer sends a questionnaire. Each demand is handled on its own terms, by whoever owns it, and then filed away. The organisation ends up with a collection of answers but no view of how it is actually connected to nature: where it is most exposed, where obligations overlap, and where value is going unclaimed. Without that view, nature remains a series of tasks rather than a strategic question, and each new demand arrives as unexpectedly as the last.

Pathfinder gives you that view. In a few minutes, it maps how your organisation is connected to nature across all three dimensions and shows you what matters most for you, and where there is value to be created, so you know where to start.

What you can do with it today

Pathfinder is available today for two kinds of organisations: enterprises and direct land stewards. A view for governments and public bodies is coming soon. The journey is the same for each and takes a few minutes.

1. Tell us who you are. Your type of organisation, your sector, and what you want to understand.

2. Put your footprint on a map. Place the land you manage, the regions you source from, and the markets you sell into. Everything that follows reads from this one picture.

3. Explore your results. Your dashboard is organised around the three ways nature bears on your organisation:

  • Physical → Resilience: how much your sites depend on functioning ecosystems, and how exposed that position could be.
  • Accountability → Compliance and disclosure: the regulations, frameworks and standards that reach you, why each applies, and what is at stake.
  • Opportunity → Finance and revenue: the subsidies, payment programmes and nature markets your land and activities may qualify for, with indicative revenue ranges where possible.

Two tools then bring these together:

  • Evidence list: one list of the nature-related evidence required across your matched frameworks and revenue opportunities, so the same data can serve several purposes.
  • Reports: custom reports of your nature footprint and next steps, to share with colleagues.

Where we're taking it

Pathfinder already takes an organisation from no clear view to a structured first map of its relationship with nature, before any commitment of budget or specialist time. Our roadmap deepens that map in four directions:

  • Wider reach: more countries, more sectors, and more of the voluntary standards that shape how organisations are judged.
  • Clearer stakes: for each item, the financial impact and how much it matters in your situation.
  • Staying current: systematic change tracking, so the picture stays reliable as regulations and markets evolve.
  • Public sector view: a dedicated journey for governments and public bodies, coming soon.

Pathfinder is in beta. Where something you expect isn’t there yet, it is likely on the roadmap. Early users directly shape which areas we build out first, so tell us where you need more depth.

When you are ready to go further, our team can build on your Pathfinder results with a full assessment of your footprint.
