Evapotranspiration (ET)

The combined process of evaporation from soil and transpiration from plants, crucial for understanding water cycles. Measured using thermal and optical sensors.

FPA

FPA is a contract for future delivery of sustainability-related claims or credits, typically used for securing nature-based investments in advance.

GHGSat

Tracks industrial greenhouse gas emissions at high spatial resolution (~25m) with targeted revisit rates for emissions monitoring.

Geomodel

A computational algorithm which accepts data an input and calculates new data as an output. Types: Process model: Takes data and calculates a theoretical (not directly measured) output. E.g. CFT model AI model: A model which uses AI to define a relationship between input and output variables and uses that to predict output given an input. E.g. internal cover crops model Direct mapping: The input is directly related to the output. E.g. Surface temperature model We have some geomodels that are built internally and some geomodels that are built by third-parties.

HWM is used as a benchmark in natural capital accounts to track the highest value ever recorded, helping assess progress in sustainability initiatives.

Hyperspectral Imaging

IBAT
